MAYO implements, human rights, HIV & AIDS,
children’s rights education and campaigns, young women symposiums and gender
awareness, training workshop on peace building and leadership, and theatre, arts festivals,
performances and sports tournaments. It also runs community based youth
volunteer programme awareness activities which focus on juvenile of rapes and
drug abuses.

MAYO HAS partnered with PLAN INTERNATIONAL IN the life skills, and peer education programme in schools a project that has seen a number of school pupils taking part. Information dissemination on youth reproductive health is one of MAYO's key thematic areas
